Chisos is one of our largest rooms, and it has retained the look and feel of this amazing home. It has 5 windows across 3 sides of the room, taking in the gorgeous morning light.
Chisos was the formal parlor when the house was built, and the original fireplace and mantle with mirror still grace the room. Decorated with Frank Lloyd Wright-style glazed tile, it gives a glimpse into the history of the house and era. The 5 original fireplaces in the house are no longer functional, but we’ve added heaters to the spaces to add ambiance as well as extra heat if you feel the need.
Chisos also has a recliner with a side table and lamp, so you can relax in some private time with a book and cup of coffee or glass of wine.
Although Chisos has a private bathroom, please note that it is NOT attached to the bedroom; the private bathroom is located directly across the hall from the room door.
